Peter Gould embraced Islam in 2002 while studying Design at the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia. After graduating first place in his degree, he founded a creative studio and was commissioned by clients such as Sony, Colgate & Vodafone. He began travelling to the Muslim world and was inspired by cities like Fes, Damascus, Istanbul & Mecca, resulting in a remarkable visual fusion of classical Islamic design elements with his signature vibrant, fresh graphic styles.
Peter’s innovative, award-winning design work is highly sought after and has reached many international audiences through creative projects, speaking engagements and design workshops. His private artwork has been commissioned by the Australian Government and the Royal House of Saudia Arabia. Peter has also launched his own clothing label, children’s book & mobile app, home decor & print range and he hosts an annual convention for creative Muslims.
